Fitzrovia Futures 2055
is a Fitzrovia Community Centre project
grassroots, locally run and designed to open up discussion on our possible futures
Through workshops and storytelling, the project creates a ‘level playing field’ for subject specialists and the local community to explore what’s possible and what’s preferable for Fitzrovia in the 2050s.
So far, a 1-day workshop has inspired 3 stories about possible futures and many people have marked their ‘important places’ on our map.
Coming up in summer 2026… as part of the London Festival of Architecture, we will host another workshop and create 3 more fictional futures (more detail on the events page).
We are also running a short story writing competition for anyone with a connection to Fitzrovia between the ages of 18 and 25. [details are here]
And, there’s more to come so please join in, let others know about this project, and help us shape the future.
Please sign up to our newsletter to stay informed.
